The Japanese garden is the work of Mr. Yasuo, Kitayama the world renowned gardener in Japan. It represents Jodo the Pure Land style of Japanese garden in the current Heisei period. The garden stones are the same as the ones at the Old Imperial Palace in Kyoto and are placed piece by piece very carefully. It really matches the nature of Hokkaido. You will be able to look back at your life in this atmosphere while enjoying a bowl of powdered green tea.
